In October 2021, we were so honoured to have Sister Kate's Home Kids Aboriginal Corporation come out to run a beautiful cultural day for Indigenous Youth from Pinjarra High School. The day was filled with cultural healing programs to help empower these young people! This video was created to showcase the events that took place that day. The practices and traditions taught on this day are portrayed so beautifully in this video. The song at the end of the video is one that the students wrote themselves and was recorded on site. There is a women's section and a men's section that have been combined to create this beautiful song. Thank you again to Sister Kate's Home Kids Aboriginal Corporation for this incredibly powerful day!

Thank you to Aunty Gloria, Kerry-Anne Kearing and Jedda for welcoming us on Bindjareb Boodja.

Please have a watch of this powerful and moving video.

In May and October each year, we are proud to be a part of the Families and Children's Day Events hosted by the Mandurah Early Years Action Group (MEYAG) and

sponsored by a Partnership Agreement with the City of Mandurah.

Additionally, each year, MEYAG hosts early learning professional development for  childcare and education providers in Mandurah.

Keep an eye on our socials for the next event.
